Yoga for Parents & Teens

teens-and-parents-header.png
Introduce your teens to the magic of dynamic yoga in a series of classes on Mondays in October/November.

These 45-minute sessions will explore a range of strength and flexibility-building activities to engage teens physically and mentally. We'll get moving right away with a few rounds of Sun A and B, then explore some foundation postures from the standing and seated sequence each week with some surprise postures to build confidence and balance.

Parents with yoga experience will be familiar with the postures and modifications, while teens will be encouraged to choose a level for each activity that they find appropriate, encouraging agency and inclusivity. The last part of the class will include a restorative deep rest and reset to prepare for the week ahead. If you identify as a teen-at-heart, you are very welcome to join in without an accompanying teen or parent. This class is suitable for active people and not appropriate for kids under 12.
